Data Center Construction Project Manager (Data Center)

Location: Elk Heart, Indiana, United States; flexible work arrangement combining remote work with onsite work at client locations or hirify.global offices, including in-person collaboration and travel to data center sites as needed.

What you will do

• Track budgets, forecasts, invoices, accruals, cash flow, and project variances.
• Standardize cost, schedule, risk, and integrated project reporting processes.
• Prepare concise financial and risk updates for project teams and leadership.
• Review contractor agreements, identify budget gaps, and flag early risks during preconstruction.
• Coordinate with scheduling and delivery teams to resolve project issues and support changes or claims.
• Travel to data center sites as needed and deliver accurate outputs under senior guidance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in construction project controls.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of cost tracking, change orders, and risk fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Earned Value or resource-based data.
• Experience with data center, manufacturing, or complex commissioning projects.
• Ability to work flexibly across remote and onsite environments and travel to project sites as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting or negotiating project changes or claims.
• Experience in project controls or cost management teams.
• Exposure to multi-stakeholder or multi-project programs.
• Experience improving project controls processes and analyzing metrics for efficiency gains.
• Familiarity with Oracle Unifier or similar project management systems.
