Director, Lead-to-Cash Transformation & Billing Operations

Location: Remote

Salary: $156,000–$210,000 per year, with potential annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise billing, accounts receivable collections, and Finance workstreams within the Lead-to-Cash program.
• Design and implement scalable billing operating models, governance frameworks, controls, workflows, and service standards.
• Improve WIP and AR aging, invoicing speed, realization, DSO, cash conversion, dispute resolution, and collection outcomes.
• Partner with Finance, Growth, Practice, Operations, ED&T, ERP, data, and architecture teams on process redesign, reporting, integrations, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Build scorecards and management reporting covering billing cycle time, realization, write-offs, AR aging, disputes, DSO, and cash conversion.
• Lead onshore and offshore teams, develop talent, manage capacity and succession planning, and provide executive-level transformation updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in billing, accounts receivable, collections, revenue operations, finance operations, or related Lead-to-Cash functions.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience, including leadership of managers or complex multi-location teams.
• Experience leading enterprise process redesign, operating-model change, workflow implementation, or finance transformation across multiple functions.
• Working knowledge of WIP, realization, write-offs, billing methods, AR aging, DSO, disputes, cash application, reserves, and financial controls.
• Experience translating business processes into technology, data, dashboard, integration, and automation requirements; Workday Financial Management experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in professional services, consulting, accounting, legal, engineering, or another project-based services environment.
• MBA, CPA, CMA, Lean/Six Sigma, PMP, or comparable finance, process, or program credential.
