Senior Product Manager (Identity Governance)

Location: Hybrid role based in Bellevue, Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, or Washington, DC, United States

Annual base salary: $189,000–$260,000 USD for candidates in California excluding the San Francisco Bay Area, Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington; an additional range of $169,000–$232,000 USD is listed.

What you will do

• Engage with customers to understand governance, compliance, and access management challenges.
• Define product strategy, vision, and roadmap for the Okta Identity Governance platform.
• Make prioritization trade-offs and execute phased product plans.
• Lead a scrum team of engineers and deliver high-quality product features on schedule.
• Track identity governance innovations, competitive offerings, and market developments.
• Partner with Product Marketing to communicate product differentiation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in Enterprise SaaS or IaaS.
• Experience creating and executing roadmaps for complex or abstract products.
• Technical background and the ability to collaborate with engineering, architecture, design, and cross-functional product teams.
• Customer-focused ownership mindset with curiosity and team orientation.
• Bachelor’s degree or MBA.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Okta Identity Governance and Access Management.
• Practical knowledge of access certifications, entitlement management, role-based access control, and separation of duties.
• Familiarity with SCIM, SAML, and identity governance and privileged access management competitors such as SailPoint, Saviynt, and Microsoft Entra ID Governance.
