Staff Product Manager - AI Detection & Discovery

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Office-first culture with three days per week in the office for most roles.

Annual base pay: $139,725–$186,300 USD. The role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, commissions, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the Detection product strategy and roadmap across multiple related products.
• Define the Shadow AI detection strategy for discovering unsanctioned models, applications, agents, and embedded AI features.
• Establish the detection taxonomy and governable inventory for models, hosted endpoints, fine-tunes, RAG pipelines, agents, and vendor AI features.
• Set measurable quality targets for coverage, precision, recall, time-to-discovery, and false-positive rates.
• Lead distributed engineering, design, data science, and detection research teams through complex discovery problems.
• Partner with Security, IT, Legal, customers, Product Marketing, Sales, and ecosystem partners on integrations, positioning, and roadmap decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Product Management experience and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience managing products through the full lifecycle, including end-of-life planning.
• Experience shipping discovery, inventory, or detection products in security, data discovery, asset management, CSPM, SSPM, CASB, observability, or a comparable domain.
• Working fluency with cloud platforms, AI services, on-premises and self-hosted inference stacks, and architecture reviews.
• Experience with integration- and connector-heavy products, upstream API changes, technical debt planning, automation backlogs, and Agile/Scrum.
• Hands-on professional use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Notion AI, or similar tools for research synthesis, PRD writing, or roadmap analysis.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, and other AI regulations.
• Enterprise security or IT tooling experience, including work with CISO or Chief Data/AI Officer buyers.
• Experience with data-quality or ML-driven classification problems where precision and recall are negotiated with customers.
• Exposure to agentic systems, MCP, or AI supply-chain risk.
