Instructional Design Specialist, Employment and Economic Opportunity

Location: Remote within the United States or from a U.S. office; U.S. territories are excluded.

What you will do

• Design and curate learning resources, knowledge-sharing products, performance support tools, modules, guides, toolkits, and digital learning products.
• Create multimedia assets, including instructional videos, graphics, job aids, templates, and interactive learning materials.
• Maintain and improve learning materials for accuracy, accessibility, relevance, and alignment with learner and project needs.
• Support AI-enhanced learning solutions and research emerging learning technologies and practices.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to design, test, refine, and scale learning experiences.
• Define learning success measures, analyze feedback and outcomes, and use findings for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, learning technologies, education, communications, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience developing digital learning resources, instructional materials, multimedia assets, or performance support tools for adult learners.
• Experience with tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, Synthesia, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, accessibility standards, learning evaluation, and user-centered design.
• Experience creating multimedia assets and collaborating with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; employment-based visa sponsorship, including H-1B sponsorship, is not available.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience applying AI-enabled productivity tools and innovative approaches to workforce-focused learning.
