What you will do

• Edit video and data into relevant information for local news and weather newscasts.
• Support broadcast and streaming workflows across digital newsroom platforms.
• Process live signal intake and produce accurate, creative content under tight deadlines.
• Prioritize assignments and respond to extended breaking-news coverage.
• Collaborate with newsroom colleagues and help optimize the viewer experience across digital platforms.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience editing on non-linear systems.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Dalet Galaxy, and live signal intake.
• Knowledge of digital newsroom, broadcast, streaming, and server-based digital media workflows.
• Strong news judgment, technical troubleshooting skills, creativity, precision, and ability to work quickly.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability for any shift, including overnights, weekends, holidays, and extended breaking-news coverage.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication, or a related field.
