Salary: $28.00–$31.00 per hour, based on experience

What you will do

• Edit show opens, teases, pre-production content, special project packages, and news stories using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Ingest, transfer, organize, and assemble video and audio footage according to scripts and newscast instructions.
• Select effective shots and apply required audio and visual effects to create accurate, coherent stories.
• Review completed edits and make corrections to ensure broadcast quality and journalistic integrity.
• Collaborate with producers, executive producers, reporters, anchors, photographers, and managers on assignments and edits.
• Support newsroom coverage during breaking news and complete additional production duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in a professional live broadcast environment.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro Suite.
• Strong storytelling, editing, and news production skills.
• Ability to multitask and work accurately under tight deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom.
• Detail-oriented approach and flexibility with scheduling.
• Ability to meet legal, standards, and broadcast-quality requirements.
