Manager, Production Technology (Post-Production)

Location: Hybrid role based in New York, United States, with in-office attendance requirements

Base salary: $90,000–$110,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Oversee editorial workflows across active productions and act as lead assistant editor when hands-on media ingest, preparation, conform, and delivery are required.
• Set up projects, folder structures, media organization, workflow templates, storage, backups, proxies, archives, and retention processes.
• Troubleshoot production workflow issues and serve as the primary technical resource for editors, assistant editors, and production teams.
• Lead Frame.io implementation, account and project structures, permissions, integrations, training, documentation, and ongoing support across VaynerX.
• Prepare projects for finishing, conform, color, sound, and delivery while coordinating with Production, Editorial, Post, IT, and technical support teams.
• Identify recurring inefficiencies, test and deploy new tools and plug-ins, and help scale post-production workflows and standards.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience in post-production technology, assistant editing, and editorial workflow management.
• Strong knowledge of commercial editorial pipelines from ingest through final delivery, preferably in high-volume commercial or agency environments.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Avid Media Composer, and After Effects.
• Strong understanding of media formats, codecs, color pipelines, delivery specifications, shared storage, and cloud-based workflows such as EditShare and LucidLink.
• Proven Frame.io experience, including training teams and establishing workflows at scale, plus strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Willingness to respond to production needs outside standard working hours.
