AI Tech Consultant (Private Equity / M&A)

What you will do

• Support private equity investors and portfolio companies with strategic technology challenges across the deal lifecycle.
• Conduct product and technology due diligence, assessing platform strength, scalability, and differentiation.
• Support post-deal value creation plans focused on product innovation and technology modernization.
• Engage with investment professionals, CTOs, CPOs, BCG case teams, and industry experts.
• Translate software, data, and AI capabilities into deal, commercial, and value-creation implications.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in technology strategy, product management, software engineering, or digital transformation, with a consulting background.
• Strategic, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills with strong customer focus and results orientation.
• Understanding of software product development, including architecture, APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, and DevOps.
• Exposure to product management, roadmap planning, and agile delivery practices.
• Familiarity with data and AI/ML technologies and their role in product differentiation and business scalability.
• University degree in a STEM-related field or business management; willingness to travel to clients worldwide.

Nice to have

• Private equity or M&A experience.
• Advanced degree such as an MBA or MSc.
