AI Tech Consultant - Public Sector - Oracle HCM

What you will do

• Deliver technology transformation programmes for UK public-sector clients, including healthcare, central government, local government, MOD, and MOJ organizations.
• Lead or contribute to Oracle Cloud HCM implementations covering Core HR, Payroll, Talent Management, Recruiting, and Oracle ME.
• Develop functional and technical designs, manage testing and data migration, and support full-scale systems implementations.
• Deploy IT strategies, digital platforms, and architectures using cloud computing, AI, blockchain, microservices, and containerization.
• Manage project quality, risks, client expectations, workshops, meetings, and escalations.
• Coach client technology teams and junior colleagues while contributing to proposals, client relationships, practice development, and new business opportunities.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience delivering technology transformation programmes, particularly in the UK public sector.
• Previous technology, digital, or large-scale transformation consulting experience is required.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud or Fusion HCM, including Core HR, Payroll, Talent Management, Recruiting, testing, and data migration.
• Strong understanding of public-sector delivery frameworks, especially NHS or central government environments.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments and facilitating client workshops and meetings.
• Computer Science, IT, or related university degree with above-average academic performance.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Oracle DWH, Oracle ME, and adjacent foundational technologies.
• Experience using generative AI and other AI-enabled productivity tools for research, documentation, analysis, and delivery.
• Experience coaching technology teams and identifying new business opportunities.
