Senior NetSuite Engineer

Location: Hybrid role based in New York, US

Base salary: $216,000–$250,000 USD per year, with potential eligibility for bonus, equity, and/or commission programs.

What you will do

• Own NetSuite architecture, technical development, solution standards, performance, and scalability.
• Design and build custom NetSuite solutions from configuration through scripting while reducing technical debt and fragile customizations.
• Architect and support integrations with upstream and downstream enterprise systems.
• Maintain data consistency across entities and currencies and lead data migration for new entities and acquisitions.
• Own the development lifecycle, including source control, testing, deployment, and CI/CD.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and advise Finance Tech leadership on build-versus-buy decisions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience implementing, configuring, and scaling NetSuite.
• Hands-on expertise with SuiteScript 1.0 and 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, the NetSuite data model, and SuiteTalk or REST APIs.
• Experience with NetSuite OneWorld, multi-subsidiary design, multi-book accounting, Advanced Revenue Management, and intercompany transactions.
• Experience building and maintaining integrations with enterprise systems.
• Experience with structured development lifecycles, source control, SuiteCloud Development Framework, and continuous integration and deployment.
• Understanding of financial close processes, including journals, reconciliations, accruals, and consolidations, plus the ability to use AI tools in daily work.

Nice to have

• NetSuite certification.
• Experience with Workato, Celigo, Boomi, or a similar integration platform.
