Finance Systems Engineer

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain customizations and integrations across NetSuite, Coupa, and related finance systems.
• Build integrations with Shopify, Salesforce, the data warehouse, and middleware using REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and event-driven patterns.
• Automate reconciliations, data synchronization, reporting pipelines, and financial data flows across procurement, invoicing, sales, general ledger, and revenue systems.
• Administer NetSuite and Coupa, including configuration, user access, roles, permissions, workflows, approval routing, and security reviews.
• Maintain reports, dashboards, saved searches, KPIs, sandbox environments, release testing, SuiteApps, and integration error queues.
• Support period close, audit readiness, system troubleshooting, license management, and coordination with vendors and internal teams.

Requirements

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in finance systems engineering, ERP administration, or systems integration.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite, including SuiteScript development and administration, and with Coupa.
• Experience managing system integrations through APIs or middleware tools.
• Ability to write SQL from scratch and work with reporting and data-warehouse concepts.
• Strong understanding of finance, procurement, and accounting workflows, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• NetSuite certifications such as SuiteFoundation, Administrator, or SuiteScript Developer.
• Experience with Salesforce, Shopify, Avalara/AvaTax, iPaaS middleware, or other finance and business systems.
• Ability to use AI coding and tooling effectively.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth company manufacturing and selling physical products.
