Director, Compensation, Benefits & Global Mobility

Location: United States Remote

Salary: US $175,000–$195,000 per year; UK £85,000–£100,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the global compensation, benefits, and global mobility strategy and align programs with organizational objectives.
• Develop compensation guidelines, salary planning processes, pay scales, benchmarking, and job evaluation practices.
• Design and manage benefits plans and recurring compensation and benefits administration.
• Own the global job architecture and ensure accurate employee mapping across Workday and other systems.
• Manage global mobility policies, assignment benefits, services, and funding across international locations.
• Lead, mentor, and support three senior professionals while promoting responsible adoption of AI tools in daily HR workflows.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive People and Culture experience, including at least 10 years leading compensation, benefits, or global mobility teams in a global environment.
• Experience with U.S. compensation program design, regulatory requirements, market practices, and delivery.
• Strong experience advising senior management and building trusted relationships across countries, cultures, and departments.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, mentoring, analytical, project management, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and balance compliance and policy enforcement with client service.
• Limited travel is required.

Nice to have

• International compensation, benefits, or global mobility experience in a nonprofit or NGO environment.
• Exposure to an executive compensation committee.
• Experience with Workday or other global HRIS systems.
• Experience with U.S. labor unions, global unions, or works councils.
