Business Development Representative

What you will do

• Manage a diverse pipeline of businesses and prioritize outreach to accelerate sales cycles.
• Contact prospective sellers at scale through cold calling, email, and social selling.
• Promote Square's solutions by identifying merchant challenges and presenting targeted value.
• Document and track qualified opportunities for handoff to Account Executives.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas while developing within the sales organization.
• Work with Sales and Account Executive teams through mentorship and career development opportunities.

Requirements

• Full bilingual proficiency in Mandarin.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Interest in developing a career in sales and enthusiasm for cold calling.
• Personal leadership, authenticity, curiosity, energy, and a collaborative approach.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Residence within 50 miles of the Sydney or Melbourne offices.
