Senior Manager, People Business Partner (Fintech)

Location: United States; remote-first. Office spaces are available in San Jose, California and Draper, Utah.

Salary: $132,900–$166,400, $140,800–$176,200, or $156,400–$195,700 USD annually, depending on geographic zone.

What you will do

• Partner with engineering leaders reporting to the CTO on workforce planning, organizational design, talent needs, and people strategy.
• Lead performance management, calibration, talent reviews, succession planning, promotions, and leveling with specialist teams.
• Coach leaders through organizational changes, performance concerns, team dynamics, and employee relations matters.
• Support engineering hiring, compensation decisions, technical career development, engagement, and retention initiatives.
• Improve HR processes using Workday, people analytics, self-service tools, and collaboration with People Operations teams.
• Promote inclusive leadership, equitable employee practices, and adoption of organizational changes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive HR or People experience, including HR Business Partner experience supporting senior leaders.
• Experience supporting engineering, product, or other technical teams, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or technology organizations.
• Hands-on experience with performance and talent management, employee relations, organizational design, change management, and engagement.
• Ability to coach leaders and managers while balancing business needs, employee experience, and compliance.
• Data-informed approach with familiarity with people analytics and HR technology; Workday experience is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.
