Spring 2027 Business Operations Internship/Co-op (AI)

Location: Palo Alto, California, United States; full-time onsite work for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning in January or March 2027

Salary: $24.50–$26 USD per hour, determined by academic level

Develops AI systems designed to understand the universe and support humanity’s pursuit of knowledge, including the Grok AI model and the Starmind satellite constellation.

What you will do

• Support business operations projects with significant organizational impact.
• Apply academic knowledge to corporate and business functions.
• Work with mentors and employees across different groups and teams.
• Contribute to activities such as data analysis, finance, human resources, IT, government affairs, legal, advertising, or sales.
• Communicate knowledge and project information concisely and accurately.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or graduate program.
• At least 3 months of experience in corporate or business functions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, independently, and as part of a team.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing requirements.
• Must be available for full-time onsite work for at least 12 consecutive weeks beginning in January or March 2027.

Nice to have

• GPA of 3.5 or above.
• Experience leading a student organization or working successfully in teams.
