Business Data Analyst Intern, Strategy & Planning (AI)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States; onsite at least 3 days per week

Salary: $31–$62 per hour

What you will do

• Translate strategic, operational, and financial data into actionable insights for leadership.
• Synthesize metrics across strategic goals, operational performance, and financial allocations.
• Use AI tools to support headcount planning and prioritize resources for high-impact initiatives.
• Create dashboards showing team velocity and performance against business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to validate data and present recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze financial, operational, and strategic datasets and communicate actionable findings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with effective stakeholder collaboration.
• Interest in or exposure to AI programs, tools, and concepts.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Economics, or a related analytical field.
• Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States during the internship and able to work onsite at least 3 days per week. Graduation must be at least four months after the internship ends.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or advanced Excel.
• Coursework or familiarity with predictive modeling, forecasting, or statistical analysis.
• Basic SQL or other database-querying experience.
