Forward Deployed Engineer (AI Capability Center)

Location: Toronto, Canada — 55 University Ave

Base salary: CAD 115,000–140,000 per year

What you will do

• Build full-stack features on AWS and Azure using Claude and other AI models.
• Work directly with business users inside a delivery pod to build solutions day to day.
• Write tests and run evaluations for shipped functionality.
• Implement designs provided by the Solution Architect and identify gaps in the proposed design.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience building software or AI solutions.
• Professional experience with Python and AWS or Azure.
• Strong software-building skills and comfort working directly with business stakeholders.
• Front-end development skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• FDE-ready capability at day one, meeting the stated Embedding L3 and AI L3 level.

Nice to have

• Experience with RAG and AI agents.
• Exposure to Agentic DevOps tooling, including agentic coding tools and evaluation-driven pipelines.
• Healthcare or higher education experience.
• AWS AI Practitioner, Azure AI-900, or Azure AI-102 certification.
