Supply Chain Analyst (Aviation)

Location: Herndon Area, Virginia, United States; hybrid schedule with 60% onsite and 40% remote work.

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, location, and other factors.

What you will do

• Plan inventory and ensure material availability for assigned aviation product lines.
• Forecast customer demand using market data, inventory levels, and consumption patterns.
• Manage global stocking policies and inventory levels while balancing availability and investment.
• Monitor, report, and analyze supply chain KPIs, including stockouts, inventory turnover, inventory costs, and on-time delivery.
• Initiate purchasing activities and collaborate with procurement to secure material supply.
• Partner with product management and sales on contractual obligations, inventory business cases, and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of inventory management or planning experience, preferably in aviation.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, forecasting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with regular onsite presence and travel independently at short notice.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

• Knowledge of SAP, IBP, and business intelligence tools.
