Controlling & Inventory – Finance Manager (SAP S/4HANA)

Location: Preferred locations are Toronto, Canada; Little Island, Cork, Ireland; Puebla, Mexico; Antwerp, Belgium; Titusville, New Jersey, United States; or Zug, Switzerland. Remote work may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Base pay: €79,800–€137,770 annually.

What you will do

• Represent Finance in cross-functional discussions covering Controlling and Inventory, particularly MAKE and R&D processes.
• Support the global finance transformation initiative across ERP design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
• Capture business requirements and collaborate with Global Process Owners, Technical Product Owners, system integrators, and transformation teams.
• Help design and document future-state Controlling and Inventory processes within the global template.
• Review S/4HANA build demonstrations, validate business requirements, and provide feedback during development and testing.
• Work with Master Data and deployment teams to validate data setup and support testing cycles.

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in Finance or Economics.
• At least 5 years of experience in Finance, preferably in supply chain, a principal company environment, or R&D.
• Experience with process development and improvement, strong analytical skills, and the ability to balance strategic perspective with attention to detail.
• Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, influencing, and change leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in dynamic, fast-paced, frequently changing, and global or virtual environments.
• Preferred locations: Toronto, Little Island/Cork, Puebla, Antwerp, Titusville, or Zug; remote work may be considered case by case.

Nice to have

• Experience with Costing, Inventory, and Plant Accounting in Supply Chain or R&D.
• Expert knowledge of SAP ERP.
• Project management experience.
• Experience with PowerQuery, PowerBI, or similar digital tools.
