Billing Supervisor (Finance)

Location: Heredia, Costa Rica; hybrid role

What you will do

• Lead the billing team and ensure accurate billing services and responses to queries.
• Maintain billing systems, invoice logs, status updates, and follow-up information.
• Conduct one-on-one performance reviews, provide coaching, and address employee relations issues.
• Create reports and indicators to support management decisions and improve process control.
• Maintain standard operating procedures, coordinate knowledge transfer, and implement training plans.
• Identify process improvements and verify compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of related billing experience, including 2+ years in leadership roles.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Familiarity with electronic billing systems and ERP software such as SAP or Oracle.
• Knowledge of billing and finance compliance regulations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in a team environment.
