IT Program Manager (Clinical Applications & AI)

Location: Fully remote from the listed U.S. states: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, West Virginia, or Wyoming. Preferred remote locations are Illinois, Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Georgia. No relocation, visa sponsorship, or visa transfer is available.

Salary: $59.00–$88.50 per hour.

What you will do

• Develop and administer the Epic Factory AI Program and other cross-application strategic initiatives.
• Work with IT leadership and business units to define business cases, requirements, expected outcomes, and implementation strategies.
• Lead project coordination, monitoring, technical direction, risk mitigation, communication planning, scope, and work-plan management.
• Translate complex clinical and business requirements into optimized workflows, process maps, and measurable improvements.
• Coordinate with IT and business stakeholders to improve operational performance and leverage technology effectively.
• Mentor analysts and IT team members in workflow design, system functionality, knowledge transfer, and professional development.

Requirements

• Epic EHR certification in a clinical application such as Ambulatory, Orders, or ClinDoc, with deep hands-on experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.
• Typically seven years of progressively responsible information systems experience with technical or project management exposure.
• Experience leading complex, high-visibility projects and strategic or AI-enabled healthcare initiatives.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, healthcare standards, end-to-end workflow design, change management, and process improvement.
• Must work remotely from one of the approved U.S. states; relocation and visa sponsorship or transfer are not available.
