Fire Services Technician (Kitchen Fire Suppression)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; onsite field work required

Salary: $70,000–$75,000 per year, plus monthly bonus base

What you will do

• Install, inspect, and service kitchen fire suppression systems.
• Develop and maintain customer service schedules.
• Prepare and submit daily job reports and invoices.
• Sell and develop preventive maintenance programs for current and prospective customers.

Requirements

• Fire Equipment Employee License required.
• Experience installing and servicing kitchen, sprinkler, or alarm fire systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to read commercial wiring schematics.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and use power and hand tools.
• Ability to work outdoors, use ladders for roof access, and operate in tight spaces between equipment.
