What you will do

• Perform fire protection engineering services under the direction of a professional engineer or experienced consultant.
• Conduct life safety code consulting, sprinkler design, fire alarm design, and performance-based fire engineering design.
• Prepare plans, specifications, inspection reports, progress reports, and other project documentation.
• Perform field investigations, inspections, design checking, and coordination of project design elements.
• Conduct building code, egress, fire detection, alarm, smoke control, sprinkler, and water supply reviews, including hydraulic calculations.
• Apply engineering calculations and assist with CADD document preparation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Fire Protection, Mechanical, Civil, Architectural, or a related engineering field.
• Effective written and oral communication skills for reports, correspondence, presentations, procedures, and client interactions.
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, professional journals, governmental regulations, and applicable codes and standards.
• 2024–2027 graduates are welcome to apply.
• Work from one of the listed offices in Allen, Austin, or Denver, United States.
