Regional General Manager, West (Rideshare Logistics)

Location: On-site at the Los Angeles HQ, with regular travel between Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego.

Base salary: $160,000–$180,000 annually, plus an annual bonus and stock option award.

What you will do

• Own operational performance, growth, financial results, and P&L across the West region's markets.
• Hire, lead, coach, and develop Market Managers while building a strong regional leadership bench.
• Support new market launches from pre-launch planning through steady-state operations.
• Oversee fleet operations, including driver scheduling, dispatch, vehicle maintenance, repairs, utilization, and safety.
• Develop regional strategies to recruit, onboard, and retain a high-performing driver base.
• Report regional performance to the founders and executive team, identify risks and opportunities, and align priorities with other regional leaders.

Requirements

• 6+ years of operations management, business consulting, or related experience in multi-site or multi-market operations.
• 4+ years of experience managing managers, including hiring and developing strong operators.
• Experience analyzing performance data, improving profitability, setting KPIs, and executing regional strategy.
• Strong communication, organization, business judgment, and comfort operating with ambiguity.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego.
• Experience with ridesharing platforms such as Uber or Lyft is a strong plus; an MBA or advanced degree is also a plus.
