General Manager (Manufacturing)

Salary: $120,000–$127,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and execute long-term strategic plans supporting operational excellence and sustainable growth.
• Oversee daily operations, productivity, efficiency, quality, policy compliance, and coordination across departments.
• Manage budgeting, expenditure approvals, financial monitoring, and corrective action planning.
• Identify business development opportunities and build relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and management teams.
• Support customer relationship management, sustainability initiatives, regulatory compliance, and crisis management planning.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience, including senior or general management experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, operations, plant management, plating, or a closely related industry.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance metrics.
• Proficiency with business management software, reporting tools, and operational systems.
• Strong leadership, team-building, communication, negotiation, analytical, decision-making, and crisis management skills.
• Knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.

Nice to have

• Leadership experience in a plating, manufacturing, or process-driven production environment.
• Experience with sustainability initiatives, corporate social responsibility programs, or environmental compliance strategies.
• Experience with business growth, operational turnarounds, customer relationship management, or multi-department leadership.
