HR Specialist/Recruiter

What you will do

• Manage recruitment, screening, and hiring activities for center staff.
• Coordinate new employee orientation and ensure attendance in accordance with program guidelines.
• Monitor background checks, hiring documentation, approvals, and compliance records.
• Prepare job offers and assist with onboarding, termination, retirement, and benefits paperwork.
• Maintain confidential personnel, medical, training, I-9, driver’s license, and insurance files.
• Support HR administration, reporting, applicant communication, office reception, and a safe workplace environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• At least one year of related experience.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to maintain accurate confidential records and follow contractual, safety, and compliance requirements.
