HR Consultant (HCM)

What you will do

• Manage inquiries, requests, and client HR projects for the Defined HR team.
• Advise customers on HR topics through phone and email support.
• Identify employment law and governmental reporting requirements and help ensure client compliance.
• Draft position descriptions and employee handbooks and participate in client meetings.
• Support HR compliance audits, FLSA analyses, and independent contractor analyses.
• Escalate complex cases and collaborate with HR Business Partners and Senior HR Consultants.

Requirements

• Proficiency in multi-jurisdictional HR compliance and employment law.
• Bachelor’s degree and related HR Generalist experience: 2 years for HR Consultant I or 3–5 years for HR Consultant II; the posting also typically requires 6+ years of related experience.
• Strong oral and written communication, customer service, relationship-building, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, analyze data, solve problems, and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word, plus Adobe Flyer experience.

Nice to have

• PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification.
