TL;DR
Operations & HR Director (HR/Operations): Providing strategic leadership for HR and operational infrastructure with an accent on system design, compliance, and organizational effectiveness. Focus on building scalable onboarding/offboarding workflows, optimizing HRIS platforms, and aligning organizational culture with racial equity goals.
Location: Remote, must be based in the US (required for USCIS I-9 compliance), requires quarterly in-person attendance at meetings, and availability during Eastern Time (ET) hours.
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 annually

What you will do
- Design and implement organization-wide HR systems, including onboarding, offboarding, and performance management workflows.
- Serve as a senior HR leader and advisor to executive leadership and people managers on employee relations and policy.
- Lead recruitment strategy and execution, ensuring equitable hiring and compliance with employment regulations.
- Provide executive oversight of HRIS (Paycom) and benefits systems, using data to inform process improvements.
- Oversee benefits administration, annual open enrollment, and partner with vendors to evaluate cost-effectiveness.
- Standardize operational processes and partner with the COO on organizational planning and risk mitigation.
Requirements
- Must be based in the US and authorized to work.
- Ability to work during Eastern Time (ET) hours.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred) in HR, Business Administration, or Organizational Development.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in human resources, operations, or organizational management.
- 3+ years of experience in people management or team leadership.
- Demonstrated success in building organizational systems and documentation from the ground up.
