Location: Marion, North Carolina; onsite work with frequent movement between the office and production floor. The role requires working in a clean room without daylight or windows and occasionally ascending or descending ladders to access machinery. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
Salary: $76,000–$104,500 annually, with possible discretionary bonuses.

What you will do
- Develop and implement engineering solutions for assigned manufacturing projects and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design and perform equipment testing, experiments, data analysis, validation activities, and technical reports.
- Support equipment studies, start-up activities, control-point definition, operating instructions, and protocol revisions.
- Investigate NCR/CAPA issues, manage equipment change controls, and troubleshoot existing and new systems.
- Support production through technical training, policy recommendations, and collaboration with manufacturing and other functional groups.
- Assist with the design, installation, and start-up of equipment while coordinating projects with internal and external multifunctional teams.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering required; Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering preferred.
- Strong accountability, ownership, leadership, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices and applications.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, AB500, safety PLCs, HMIs, TCP/IP, RS-232, Profibus, Fieldbus, and HSSB.
- Hands-on electrical troubleshooting, Category 3 safety systems, E-Plan P8, AutoCAD, and the ability to read and draw schematics.
- U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
Nice to have
- Experience in a regulated industry.
- Familiarity with servo and VFD drives, motion control, encoders, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Experience with Fanuc, Yaskawa, or Staubli robotics and Cognex or Keyence vision systems.
- Programming experience with C#, C++, VB, or SQL Server.
