Clinical Diabetes Specialist - Delaware / Maryland

Location: Field-based position in Delaware or Maryland, US; candidates must reside in the specified geography and be able to travel as needed.

Annual base salary: $90,000–$100,000, plus an annual commission target. Annual earnings target: $128,000–$138,000.

Medical technology startup developing innovative type 1 diabetes management solutions, including the iLet bionic pancreas, a closed-loop insulin delivery system with autonomous insulin dosing.

What you will do

• Promote and provide clinical support for diabetes products and services within the assigned territory.
• Manage and conduct training for people with diabetes, healthcare professionals, provider staff, and families.
• Provide product demonstrations and train trainers in provider offices.
• Partner with Territory Business Managers and Inside Sales Specialists to achieve territory goals and develop customer strategies.
• Maintain compliant team communication and documentation in Salesforce.
• Build relationships across healthcare provider and integrated delivery network environments while supporting people with diabetes.

Requirements

• RN or RD qualification.
• CDCES certification required.
• Acceptable licenses include APRN, NP, or PA.
• At least 3 years of diabetes experience.
• Strong teaching, training, communication, presentation, planning, and organizational skills.
• Must reside in Delaware or Maryland and be independently mobile for field-based work and business travel.

Nice to have

• 5 or more years of diabetes experience.
• Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry.
