TL;DR
Construction Coordinator (Residential Construction): Coordinating multiple residential construction projects and supporting field teams throughout the Los Angeles marketplace with an accent on scheduling, project documentation, permitting, utilities, and project accounting. Focus on coordinating wildfire rebuild activities, supporting pre-construction site readiness, and maintaining progress across active job sites.
Location: Los Angeles, CA; candidates must be based in Los Angeles, CA
Compensation: $22–$30 per hour plus equity

A technology-enabled residential construction company building and personalizing homes online while supporting community recovery after natural disasters.
What you will do
- Coordinate activities across multiple simultaneous residential construction projects in Altadena and the Palisades.
- Support project managers, field superintendents, and construction operations with scheduling, meeting notes, administration, and project documentation.
- Provide project accounting support by obtaining lien releases and processing invoices.
- Track project progress in company systems and online tools, and coordinate job-site cleanliness with vendors.
- Support pre-construction activities, including demolition scheduling, soil testing, utility disconnection, lot checklists, and site readiness.
- Assist with permit submissions, utility coordination, warranty tickets, homeowner orientations, punch lists, and other project tasks.
Requirements
- Must be based in Los Angeles, CA.
- 1–2+ years of experience in construction or a related role such as project coordination, customer service, real estate, or project engineering.
- Proficiency with Google Sheets or Excel for data entry and tracking.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to operate small tools and equipment and unload job-site deliveries weighing up to 40 lbs.
Nice to have
- Experience with Procore.
- Experience working with city officials.
- Construction certifications such as OSHA or LEAD.
- Experience operating a skid loader or excavator.
