Project Engineer

Location: On site at a client site in Dayton, Ohio, United States; schedule flexibility may allow limited remote work opportunities.

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for projects typically valued up to $500K within program and customer guidelines.
• Define, generate, and review project requirements documentation.
• Perform technical studies to refine project requirements.
• Monitor project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate resource managers and supervisors and obtain required reviews and approvals.
• Conduct project performance analyses during phase-down to support future projects and programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 1–5 years of project engineering experience required; small-project cost control and support preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
• Strong business and analytical acumen.
• Advanced interpersonal and communication skills for working in an interdisciplinary environment.
• Ability to work at a client site in Dayton, including walking around a construction site, climbing ladders and scaffolding, working at elevation and in confined spaces, lifting up to 20 pounds, and using required PPE.
