Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; travel required approximately 10% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

Salary: $185,000–$254,000 per year

What you will do

  • Lead practical applications of scientific theory and complex process engineering for the product line.
  • Direct research, development, and implementation of new products and enhancements to existing products.
  • Resolve complex process engineering issues with key customers and address high-value problems.
  • Lead alpha engineering activities and manage process technology issues across the product line.
  • Oversee alpha and beta product releases and support strategic planning across the business unit and Product Business Group.
  • Identify, select, and collaborate with vendors and suppliers.

Requirements

  • Broad, comprehensive expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques, and technologies within the field.
  • Recognized expertise or external authority in the relevant function.
  • Experience leading highly visible multidisciplinary projects or initiatives.
  • Ability to solve complex problems using innovative methods and influence business or regulatory decisions.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with senior management, customers, regulators, and vendors.
  • Ability to work in Santa Clara, California, with approximately 10% travel.
