Senior Director, Operations (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Livermore, California; onsite leadership of the Livermore factory. Regular hours are day shift.

Salary: $213,800–$280,560 per year, depending on experience, skills, and background.

What you will do

• Direct fab operations spanning wafer fabrication, assembly and test, equipment engineering, process control, and facilities.
• Improve first-pass yield, cycle time, capacity utilization, cost performance, and operational execution.
• Lead technology transfers between sites and strengthen the global supply chain network.
• Define long-range site strategy covering capital investment, inventory optimization, technology ramps, and node transitions.
• Implement lean manufacturing, statistical process control, automation, and equipment lifecycle planning.
• Lead, mentor, and develop engineering, operations, facilities, and support teams while collaborating with R&D and business leaders.

Requirements

• 14+ years of related experience, including leadership experience, with a bachelor’s degree; or 12 years with a master’s degree; or 10 years with a PhD; equivalent experience may qualify.
• Deep semiconductor manufacturing experience across fab operations and process technologies.
• Experience with operations management, capacity planning, COGS, capital investment, and P&L reporting.
• Leadership capability in automation, lean manufacturing, SPC, process control, and continuous improvement.
• Strong executive influence, communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and team development skills.
