Sr Staff Product Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Westlake Village, California, United States

Expected base pay: $119,300–$176,600 per year, excluding bonus and equity compensation.

What you will do

• Lead product engineering activities, yield improvement, and cost reduction from low-volume production through high-volume manufacturing.
• Design process-oriented and data-driven production methods that ensure product quality.
• Own test coverage by analyzing production test limits, calculating guard bands, and writing final datasheet specifications.
• Collaborate with Design and Test Engineering to develop wafer-probe and package-level product screening, including RF test hardware and implementation.
• Work with Operations and Planning to support on-time delivery against the production backlog.
• Provide product engineering support for customer returns and ongoing characterization and qualification activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Alternatively, a Master’s degree and/or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with SiPh/optics testing processes.
• Eligibility to access export-controlled technology and software under U.S. export control laws may be required.
