Director I, AP Statistics Curriculum and Assessment

Location: Remote within the United States; employees near hirify.global offices may choose fully remote or hybrid work with office attendance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Occasional business travel is required, including 6–8 trips per year and up to two additional weeks for the AP Reading.

Salary: $96,000–$135,000 annually, adjusted based on location, experience, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Lead the development, revision, management, and scoring of AP Statistics formative and summative assessments.
• Develop AP Statistics exam forms and scoring materials in alignment with approved curricula and test specifications.
• Lead Test Development Committee meetings, recruit and train educator contributors, and manage review workflows.
• Plan and lead the annual AP Reading, including scoring operations and post-Reading publications.
• Monitor assessment validity, security, reliability, fairness, reader reliability, and cut-score development with psychometricians.
• Refine the AP Statistics Course Framework and collaborate on teacher resources, professional learning, higher education engagement, and new instructional products.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Statistics or a directly related discipline; a doctorate is strongly preferred.
• At least five years of experience in standardized assessment development or related work, with expertise in Statistics.
• Strong oral and written communication, organizational, planning, proofreading, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Experience implementing processes, managing project plans and schedules, and maintaining tracking documentation.
• Ability to use emerging digital tools and AI-driven solutions independently and proactively.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
