Valuation & Advisory Property Research Analyst (Real Estate)

What you will do

• Research properties using public records, MLS databases, tax assessor websites, and other relevant sources.
• Collect and analyze comparable-property data, market conditions, zoning information, sales history, and valuation factors.
• Enter researched information into appraisal software and support the preparation and formatting of appraisal reports.
• Monitor local real estate market trends and regulatory changes, and summarize findings for senior appraisers.
• Maintain organized property files, research notes, and databases while checking data for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with appraisers and, when applicable, communicate with clients, property owners, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; a related industry field is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in real estate research and/or market analysis.
• Experience with data entry, data management, and time-series analysis or forecasting.
• Strong proficiency with data software applications and Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Strong research, analytical, communication, critical-thinking, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and handle sensitive information discreetly.

Nice to have

• Master of Business Administration degree in a related field.
• Experience supporting appraisal reports and current market reports.
