IT Business Analyst

Location: Remote, preferred to be based in California, Oregon, Washington, or Nevada. Pay range is associated with the Oregon Remote Office.

Salary: $60,940–$103,598 annually

What you will do

• Support requirements, design, testing, configuration, and delivery of energy-efficiency tracking and reporting tools.
• Work with IT stakeholders to define system requirements and identify effective design approaches.
• Create requirements specifications, use cases, process flow diagrams, user interface designs, and other system documentation.
• Support User Acceptance Testing, track support requests, and help resolve system issues.
• Communicate task status, present updates, train users, and assist with troubleshooting.
• Analyze client processes and identify technology-related improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience supporting business analysis, IT systems, or software development projects.
• Experience with requirements gathering, system design, testing, and system documentation such as use cases, process flows, or test scripts.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, consulting, and prioritization skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Visio, Teams, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Experience in utility, energy, or energy-efficiency sectors.
• Experience with Jira and SharePoint.
• Understanding of relational databases.
