Freelance Editorial Distribution Specialist

Location: Fully remote, with unrestricted work authorization in the United States required. Availability for nights and weekends is required.

Compensation: USD 200–300 per day

What you will do

• Support editorial teams in making digital content more discoverable from planning through publication.
• Improve distribution for live blogs, content calendars, evergreen packages, explainers, and event-based coverage.
• Help writers and editors apply SEO/GEO, Reddit, and third-party platform best practices.
• Develop distribution approaches for written and video content across emerging platforms and partner ecosystems.
• Increase visibility for priority sports, tentpole events, streaming coverage, and digital rights content.
• Monitor Google, AI search experiences, LLMs, Reddit, and other discovery surfaces, translating trends into editorial recommendations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar capacity.
• Experience with digital content distribution across organic search, AI engines, referral platforms, aggregators, and Reddit or other community surfaces.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
• Availability to work nights and weekends.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
