What you will do

• Conduct laboratory research supporting virology and vaccine programs.
• Perform virological assays and ELISAs.
• Maintain and work with tissue and cell cultures.
• Evaluate experimental results and identify issues.
• Troubleshoot experimental problems and document research activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biological science or a related field with approximately 6 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with approximately 4 years of relevant experience.
• PhD candidates may be considered with at least 1 year of hands-on experience with the required skill set.
• At least 3 years of laboratory research experience outside academic degree requirements.
• Hands-on experience with virological assays, tissue or cell culture, and ELISAs.
• Strong written and verbal communication, critical-thinking, evaluation, and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with GraphPad Prism.
• Experience with electronic laboratory notebook systems.
