What you will do

• Perform and document tissue culture operations, including cell maintenance, enumeration, freezing, thawing, and preparation of laboratory materials.
• Support hybridoma development, antibody production, cell expansion, cryopreservation, and operation of small- to medium-scale bioreactors.
• Execute, develop, optimize, and analyze ELISA, flow cytometry, viral, cell-based, and other laboratory assays.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, study records, quality control documentation, SOPs, and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as a technical resource, lead technician, and trainer for laboratory staff while supporting client communications and project meetings.
• Identify process improvements, evaluate new methods and technologies, and help prepare reports, protocols, and study deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or a related life science.
• At least 1 year of research assistant experience and 4 or more years of laboratory experience.
• At least 1 year of experience with tissue culture, assay techniques, and standard laboratory equipment.
• Strong understanding of tissue culture methodologies, cell-based assays, antibody production, scientific quality, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, communicate technical information, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work onsite in a laboratory environment, use required PPE, handle potentially hazardous substances, and stand or sit for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Experience with antibody production, hybridoma development, immunology services, ELISA, antibody isotyping, viral assays, ELISpot, or cell-based assays.
• Experience optimizing flow cytometry methods and analyzing data with FlowJo.
• Experience with assay method development and qualification, analytical instrumentation, or bioreactor systems.
• Experience writing laboratory documentation, training staff, mentoring junior personnel, or providing technical client support.
