Senior Research Associate (Immunoassay)

Location: Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA; laboratory-based, onsite role with up to 75% of the day spent at a lab bench.

Salary: $67,900–$101,000 annual base salary, with potential discretionary or non-discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Execute experiments supporting reagent and assay development projects with limited supervision.
• Analyze experimental data in support of research and development objectives.
• Advance projects focused on leading-edge biomarker measurements and technology.
• Execute complex laboratory experiments and identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage multiple changing priorities while meeting time-sensitive deliverables.

Requirements

• Knowledge of immunoassay technology.
• Ability to execute complex experiments with limited guidance and work independently or as part of a team.
• Solid data analysis skills, sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and basic knowledge of statistics.
• Strong organizational, planning, time-management, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work at a lab bench for extended periods, work occasionally at heights above four feet, and move or lift up to 25 pounds.

• Knowledge of GraphPad Prism and SharePoint.
