Group Director, Global Physical Security

Salary: $196,000–$364,000 annual salary in California, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead global physical security operations and advise the Vice President of Global Security.
• Manage Regional Security Directors and the Senior Manager of the GSOC, establishing governance, accountability, performance standards, and succession planning.
• Oversee physical security operations across the Americas, including guarding, access control, CCTV, visitor management, incident response, executive support, event security, and life-safety coordination.
• Integrate regional operations with GSOC monitoring, intelligence, escalation, communications, and incident response workflows.
• Modernize access control, CCTV, visitor management, GSOC platforms, analytics, automation, and security systems integration using an AI-first mindset.
• Own workforce planning, budgets, investment priorities, vendor governance, and executive reporting for the global program.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in corporate security, physical security operations, law enforcement, military, intelligence, or a related field.
• Experience leading multi-region or global physical security operations in a complex multinational organization.
• Experience managing senior security managers, regional directors, GSOC/SOC functions, and geographically dispersed teams.
• Expertise in incident management, crisis leadership, investigations, threat and risk assessment, executive escalation, access control, CCTV, visitor management, and security systems integration.
• Strong executive communication, cross-functional influence, judgment, and ability to convert strategy into measurable execution.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-technology, semiconductor, intellectual-property-sensitive, R&D, laboratory, or advanced engineering environments.
• CPP, PSP, CFE, CTM, or comparable professional certification.
• Experience transforming a GSOC, deploying global standards, or modernizing enterprise security technology.
• Knowledge of security, resilience, and compliance frameworks in multinational environments.
