Director, Global Real Estate (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the global real estate portfolio covering corporate offices, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, and engineering sites.
• Develop long-term portfolio, footprint, and owned-versus-leased property strategies aligned with business and workforce needs.
• Evaluate facility utilization and recommend expansions, consolidations, closures, relocations, acquisitions, and dispositions.
• Lead lease renewals, commercial negotiations, property transactions, broker relationships, and external service-provider management.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Legal, Human Resources, and business leaders on facility and manufacturing footprint decisions.
• Present business cases and portfolio recommendations to senior leaders, balancing cost, capital, operational impact, growth, and risk.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of progressive experience in corporate real estate, facilities management, portfolio strategy, or a related discipline within a global organization.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed portfolios containing manufacturing, distribution, engineering, and office facilities.
• Strong expertise in owned and leased real estate structures, lease negotiations, facility consolidations, site closures, and property transactions.
• Experience supporting real estate or footprint decisions in a complex industrial, manufacturing, or similarly asset-intensive organization.
• Strong commercial and financial judgment, including analysis of occupancy costs, lease liabilities, capital requirements, investments, and business cases.
• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, business administration, engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
