Sustainability & Regulatory Compliance Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: US CA, Scotts Valley; hybrid office role with occasional travel of up to approximately 20% to FOX sites, suppliers, and customers.

Salary: $106,172.82–$145,987.35 per year

What you will do

• Coordinate sustainability and ESG compliance inquiries from customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Monitor product and packaging environmental regulations and translate them into actionable guidance for Engineering, Packaging, Purchasing, and other functions.
• Consolidate data from Engineering, Packaging, Purchasing, EHS, Operations, and Sales for customer ESG questionnaires, supplier scorecards, and third-party assessments.
• Maintain sustainability statements, declarations, compliance documentation, SOPs, trackers, and knowledge bases.
• Coordinate Scope 1–3 emissions, energy, water, waste, and recycled-content data collection and support sustainability certifications.
• Provide compliance updates, customer-facing talking points, risk reporting, and recommendations to Compliance leadership.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in sustainability, environmental compliance, or product regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of product and packaging regulations including PPWR, Digital Product Passport, Battery Regulation, REACH/RoHS, PFAS, and CBAM.
• Working knowledge of GHG accounting for Scope 1–3 and environmental data management.
• Experience with customer ESG questionnaires or compliance audits in a manufacturing supply chain.
• Strong program management, organizational, written communication, documentation, and cross-functional influencing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred; proficiency in Excel and data tools required.

Nice to have

• Experience with sustainability, compliance, or GHG software platforms.
• Experience with EU product and packaging regulations and customer ESG reporting.
• Experience in bicycle, powersports, automotive, or similar industries.
• Mandarin language ability for coordination with Taiwan-based teams.
