TL;DR
Director of Power Business Real Estate (Advanced Fission/Nuclear Energy): Leading site identification, acquisition, and control for Aurora powerhouses, isotope production facilities, and Nuclear Lifecycle Innovation Campuses with an accent on complex land agreements, title work, and multi-state regulatory coordination. Focus on evaluating site feasibility, structuring easements and joint ventures, negotiating with landowners and governments, and building a team responsible for the development pipeline.

Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States; remote employees must travel to headquarters twice per quarter, and the first two weeks of onboarding are in person at headquarters. Applicants must meet the definition of a U.S. person under applicable export control laws.

Salary: $225,000–$275,000 annually

What you will do

  • Lead site identification, screening, acquisition, and control activities across the Aurora powerhouse development pipeline.
  • Negotiate and execute land option, purchase and sale, easement, right-of-way, access, and joint venture agreements.
  • Manage title review, survey coordination, and curative title work across active sites.
  • Build a pipeline of sites based on load proximity, land area, soil conditions, water access, and community context.
  • Coordinate site feasibility, zoning, land use risk, and regulatory compatibility with engineering, environmental, permitting, and development teams.
  • Secure sites for isotope production facilities and Nuclear Lifecycle Innovation Campuses, including parcel assemblage, shared infrastructure easements, and local government coordination.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in energy project land acquisition, real estate, or land management.
  • Demonstrated experience executing site control across complex energy or infrastructure project portfolios.
  • Strong negotiation experience involving agricultural, industrial, and government-owned land.
  • Familiarity with GIS tools for site screening and parcel analysis.
  • Experience working across multiple states with varying regulatory and title requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical content and results.
