IPU Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Arecibo, Puerto Rico; full-time, regular onsite position.

What you will do

• Manage plant equipment, personnel, and production processes to meet demand, quality, cost, productivity, and planning targets.
• Prepare the annual production budget, monitor execution, and address cost issues.
• Develop operational programs, projects, goals, and metrics while optimizing working capital.
• Reduce non-value-added costs, improve factory and supplier yields, support on-time delivery, and reduce product field failures.
• Implement Four Quadrants program training and methods across the organization.
• Coordinate manufacturing subcontractors with Supply Chain Management and support customer visits by explaining manufacturing capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a similar engineering field from an educational institution in Puerto Rico or the United States.
• At least 12 years of experience as a Procurement and Logistics Manager, Engineering Manager, or in a similar management role in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of PCs and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Oracle, and similar tools.
• Experience working with managers and preparing presentations and reports.
• Ability to supervise, coordinate, assign, monitor, evaluate, train, counsel, and discipline employees.
• Ability to comply with Quality, HSE, Human Resources, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and VPP requirements.
