Director - Market Data

Location: New York, New York, United States of America; mostly on-site

Base salary: $196,350–$288,750 per year, plus potential annual incentive compensation and long-term equity participation.

What you will do

• Lead the policy, product strategy, and go-to-market approach for a substantial global market data portfolio.
• Own the options and futures market data classes, including data content, use cases, and competitive positioning.
• Shape licensing frameworks, fee schedules, and new data offerings with Legal, Compliance, and Product.
• Enable Sales and Account Management teams with market data tools, training, and positioning.
• Lead strategic programs for the U.S. market data business and coordinate cross-functional execution.
• Develop vendor, exchange, ISV, distribution, and index feed partnerships to support client acquisition and revenue growth.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in market data, financial markets, or data licensing.
• Strong knowledge of listed options and/or futures market structure.
• Experience shaping data policy, pricing, and product strategy at an exchange, data vendor, or financial information provider.
• Experience enabling sales teams and growing data, subscription, or licensing businesses.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional programs and managing vendor, ISV, or distribution partnerships.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field; must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
