Corporate Actions Specialist (Fintech)

Location: Mostly on-site with four days in the office at the Overland Park Xchange near Kansas City, Kansas; the posting also lists Chicago, Illinois. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Base salary: $80,750–$104,500 annually, plus potential incentive compensation and long-term equity participation.

What you will do

• Coordinate issuer corporate actions, including ticker and CUSIP changes, fund rebranding, stock splits, and other corporate events.
• Support issuers, custodians, Lead Market Makers, and other participants with listing, trading, and auction-related questions.
• Manage equity listings, symbol reservations, new issue auctions, trading tickets, and transferred symbols.
• Monitor daily distributions, reports, bulletins, and back-end data feeds for accurate and timely processing.
• Use proprietary tools and AI to research issuer, listing, and trading data.
• Collaborate with sales, technology, business, and engineering teams to define, test, and launch system changes; maintain procedures and technical notices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the securities or trading industry.
• Working knowledge of U.S. equities markets and corporate actions processes.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
• U.S. work authorization without employer visa sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in business, financial services, communications, or a related discipline.
• Experience with corporate actions, listings, exchange operations, regulatory, compliance, or legal environments.
• Familiarity with AI LLMs, Confluence, or JIRA.
